Kelcy and Dylan's Wedding!!!! June 11,2016
Kim and I were lucky enough to be a part of this amazing wedding! When I first started photography
school, I needed a few models. My Aunt brought me Kelcey and her sisters! So, I have photographed
her as a little girl, as a dancer and now as a bride!
Think back to the one and only day it snowed......we tried to take their engagement pictures. LOL. It
did not pan out, so we opted for just the coldest day of the year at the Silver Bridge.
You will see in the images below, just how gorgeous of a bride she was and how perfect the wedding was. The day started at her family home with all of her bridesmaids. It was a super sweet way to start her married life.
The wedding was at Mill Creek Park in the Kingston Pavilion. (it was really hot outside. which seems fair, since we were so cold at the engagement session.) We stayed in the park, to take their formal wedding portraits. The bridal party and family all retreated to the Limo and cars while we finished up just portraits of Kelcy and Dylan. I like it that way. Alone in the park with just the bride and groom. There was no one to make Dylan feel funny showing pda!!
The reception was at the Embassy. It was perfection! (There was air conditioning) Reception halls can be dark, but we handled that with our flashes. We did a few more pictures of the bridal party at the bar, they were very relaxed and had a blast. The traditional events took place, and they danced the night away and showed everyone just how much love they had not only for themselves, but for their family too.

Everyone who hadn't been there was blown away. The food at DC wedding venues was hands down the best wedding food any of us had ever tasted. We had many of our guests come up to us during the reception and comment as to how delicious the food was.
